Helene Fischer comes into Miniatur Wunderland with the Olympiastadion Berlin
The world-famous Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt presents its latest project: the 3.82m x 2.90m miniature replica of the Olympiastadion Berlin. However, this project is not just another building, but above all a clever idea to help children in need.
On November 11, 2015, the finished shell of the stadium was presented at in the Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg by the patron of the campaign, Helene Fischer. Together with the presenter of the “Ein Herz für Kinder” gala – Johannes B. Kerner – she started the fundraising campaign on site at Miniatur Wunderland: “ play of colors in Wunderland – the benefit concert on a scale of 1:87”. The initiators are hoping for a sold-out stadium before the show on December 5, 2015 in Berlin.
The creators of the Miniatur Wunderland have come up with this very special campaign based on their daily work together with Helene Fischer: The stadium holds 57,000 little figures who will admire Helene Fischer every day from now on. The seats/figures are available at www.eventim.de and on site at Miniatur Wunderland. With the purchase confirmation, the customer receives an individual code that can be activated on a specially programmed website. From a selection of over 200 different figures, each buyer can choose their figure, place it in the virtual stadium and leave a greeting message. Each figure is then placed in the “Olympiastadion Berlin” by the model builders and the proceeds donated to “Ein Herz für Kinder”. Miniatur Wunderland and Helene Fischer have been working on the realization of this unique idea for months and are looking forward to the launch of the campaign. “It is simply incredible how Helene connects and captivates men and women, young and old alike. We are incredibly proud to have launched this idea together with Helene and hope to raise a handsome sum together with her fans and ours to help children in need.” (Frederik Braun, Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg)
More than 50 model builders are now working day and night to complete the unique Olympiastadion Berlin – more precisely, the authentic replica of the legendary Helene Fischer “Farbenspiel” concert, which took place in July 2015.
