Since Miniatur Wunderland opened on August 16, 2001, it has been open continuously except for a single day. Unfortunately, due to the increasing spread of the novel coronavirus, it now has to close temporarily.
“The health of all Wunderländer and our visitors is always our top priority. We have been thinking about closing for days. As we have been unable to obtain any reliable information so far, we have decided to proactively close Wunderland from Monday. Anything else would not have been compatible with our social conscience,” explains Frederik Braun.
As of now, Wunderland will remain closed until March 31. After that, it will be re-evaluated every week. Further information will follow.
